We attended our first food festival, the NJ Vegan Festival, at the Meadowlands Exposition Center in Secaucus, NJ on Saturday November 13th. Angel Planet Foods provides high quality vegan or vegetarian Asian cuisine prepared meals and meal plans, we ship to 8 States in the Northeast, NJ, NY, PA, DE, MD, DC, MA and RI.

Saturday was quite the whirlwind! The APF tent was buzzing; Zheng and Caitlin were talking with hundreds of customers, Mike was handing out samples left and right, and Nick was monitoring the booth's electrical equipment among other important tasks. Saturday was truly a team effort that resulted in many new customers, meal plan signups, and most importantly, sharing our delicious food with a huge, diverse crowd of vegans & non-vegans from all over the country.
For the first time in APF history, we were able to hand out samples of our Mapo Tofu with Mushrooms and our Pumpkin Squash Mango Chickpea Curry, two organic favorites. So many people loved the samples and ended up purchasing them to eat right then and there. It was really exciting to see so many people sitting down and eating our food among the 100+ choices of vendors they had to choose from that day.
We're looking forward to seeking out and attending more events like this where we can learn exactly what customers are looking for, spread brand awareness, and have people try our food for themselves rather than just seeing our pretty product pictures on the web!
